🧭 How to Determine If a Frame Will Fit You

When shopping for glasses online, understanding frame measurements can ensure a comfortable and proper fit.  

Here’s how to interpret these measurements:

• Lens Width: This is the horizontal width of each lens, typically ranging from 40mm to 60mm. In sunglasses, we often select glasses with larger lenses.
• Bridge Width: This measures the distance between the two lenses over your nose, usually between 14mm and 24mm.  
• Temple Length: This is the length of the arm pieces from the hinge to the end, commonly between 120mm and 150mm. 

Tip: If you have an existing pair of well-fitting glasses, check the inside of the temple arm for these measurements, usually listed in the format: lens width – bridge width – temple length (e.g., 52–18–140). 

📏 How to Measure Your Face for the Perfect Fit

Not sure if a frame will fit you? Here’s a simple way to measure your face at home and match it to our frame measurements:

Measure Your Temple-to-Temple Width

• Use a ruler or flexible measuring tape.
• Stand in front of a mirror and measure the distance between your temples — the outer edge of one eye socket to the other.
• Compare this to the combined lens width + bridge width of the frame.
  (Example: If each lens is 52mm and the bridge is 18mm, the total width is about 122mm.)

Measure Your Bridge Width

• If you already wear glasses that fit comfortably, check the bridge width printed on the inside of the arm (e.g., 18mm).
• Otherwise, measure the width of the top of your nose where the glasses will sit.

1. Measure Your Temple Length

• Measure from the front of your ear (where the glasses arm sits) around to where it touches your head behind the ear.
• Standard temple arm lengths are 135mm, 140mm, or 145mm.
